The definition of improvisation is “without planning.”

However, learning how to improv takes practice and often guidance.

These improvisation cards are meant to assist you in teaching your students how to improv in a fun and easy way.

They are designed to be highly adaptable. If your student knows chords, they can apply any chord progression to their improvisation. If you have a backing track or rhythm track, you can play it while your student improvs.

Remember: there are no right or wrong answers in improv! There are just creative choices!
