How to Play Sloth Semitones Tone & Semitone Game
- Shuffle each deck of cards (Sloth Semitones deck level of your choice, Semitone deck, Tone deck) and place in three stacks.
- Each player picks a sloth token and places it on one of the start positions.
- Students will take turns drawing from the Sloth Semitones deck, identifying whether it is a semitone or tone, and picking from the appropriate deck to move on the game board.
- If the student reaches the edge of the board, they can continue to the opposite side (e.g. the last spot on the right side continues to the first spot on the left side).
- There are 4 bonus cards (algae, 2 moths, poop) where the student gets to pick their move.
- Predator: If a student lands on the circle next to the eagle or ocelot, they must return to “start.”
- The first student to “finish” wins!
- Alternate Gameplay: If you need slightly faster gameplay, then a player stops when they reach any edge of the board. They must pick a card that directs them away from the edge in order to move.
