MGC Member FAQ

MUSIC GAME CLUB MEMBERSHIP FAQ

Our membership is only open twice a year (August and December). You can learn more about our membership here.

You can get our current music game freebie here to see what all is included in a Music Game Club download.

  • As soon as you sign up, we credit your account with points (Basic = 1 point, Pro = 2 points)
  • You may then spend the points on any game of your choice in our shop
  • At any time, you can see all of your game downloads under your account

Due to the nature of digital downloads, there are no refunds or exchanges.

While we do not issue refunds for most purchases, we will refund accidental duplicate purchases. Contact us at support@musicgameclub.com so we can get your order straightened out.

Yes, you may cancel your membership at any time. Please note that due to the digital nature of our music games, we are unable to offer refunds or returns.

To cancel your membership, go to musicgameclub.com/my-account and sign in.

Click the “My Subscriptions” bullet point and you will be taken to a page where you can cancel subscription or change payment. 

Please note that if you decide you want to renew your membership, you will need to wait until our doors are open again (August and December).

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP FAQ

The bonus game videos link should be included in your .zip membership downloads file as a single PDF. If you still do not see this PDF, contact us at support@musicgameclub.com and we’ll be sure to get it to you!

Yes, we can manually adjust your next renewal to happen at your preferred date within 2 weeks of your sign-up date. Contact us at support@musicgameclub.com for this.

REDEEMING POINTS

Your points will stay in your account to redeem on the games of your choice whenever you want. There is no current expiration of points.

Be sure you’re shopping in the MGC Member Shop.

You will not lose your points! Every time you click to redeem points, the system emails you your code. So if you don’t use it today, you can use it another day. Be sure to check your email to get your saved code. It’s a special coupon code that only works for you, applying to any product in the MGC Member Shop.

With our current system, you can only spend 500 points at a time. This is to combat the glitch where if I have only 500 points and two things in my cart, then I get 50% off each one and still have to pay, which we felt could be confusing. So if you have 2,000 points, you'd have to make 4 purchases to redeem them all. We are hoping to change this in the future. Second, be sure you’re shopping in the MGC Member Shop, as the points will not apply in the non-member shop.

TECHNICAL FAQ

  • Be sure the game is downloaded to your computer (rather than printing from browser)
  • Once downloaded, open your game in a PDF reader (like Adobe).
  • Our games are high-resolution games, so check that it fits your page preview in print.
  • If the pages are oversized when you print, adjust your printer settings to “print entire page” or “scale to fit” (or similar) and try printing again
  • If you still have issues printing, look at your printer manual to troubleshoot your specific printer’s process

Other troubleshooting:

  • Be sure your printer is updated
  • Use double-sided printing

  • Our music games come in full-color, high quality PDFs. It may take your computer a few minutes to fully read the file. If your music game is blurry upon first opening, please wait for a few minutes to be sure it fully loaded before contacting us.

500 points = 1 purchase from the MGC Membership shop. So everything you see equals 500 points.

PRE-EXISTING MEMBER QUESTIONS (2024 AND BEFORE)

We changed our website platform in January 2025, so if you’ve been a member prior to January 2025, these questions may apply to you.

If you’re an pre-January 2025 member, then we have switched platforms. The most straightforward way to get into the new system is to

  1. Create a new account
  2. Purchase a new membership (email us at support@musicgameclub.com for a special access link)
  3. Use the same email for your account and membership purchase
  4. Once you have done this, in your account you should see a "Rewards" widget on the left-hand size of your screen with your points that you can now redeem as a member

We can manually check and assign you points to be sure you have the points you need, if you’re a current member. Remember that creating an account doesn’t mean purchasing a membership. So double-check that you’ve actually purchased a membership first. If you have, then email us at support@musicgameclub.com so we can get your points figured out.

We moved to a new system in January 2025. If you were a member prior to January 2025, email us at support@musicgameclub.com and we will get you set up in the new system and honor your existing points.
