  Scarecrow Scores - Deck 1 Students must match the correct symbol to the correct word (e.g. the coda symbol to "coda"). Symbols include 8va, 8vb, 15m, 15mb, coda, segno, fermata, repeat signs, 1st ending, 2nd ending, 3rd ending, and more. This is a great way to introduce students to all the musical symbols and know exactly what each one is called. Purchase just Deck 1 here.   Scarecrow Scores - Deck 2 Students will be presented with three musical symbols and ask to identify "Which Symbol means...?" Symbols include 8va, 8vb, 15m, 15mb, coda, segno, fermata, repeat signs, 1st ending, 2nd ending, 3rd ending, and more. This is a great way to introduce students to all the musical symbols and know exactly what they mean. Students will draw a realistic crow to the symbol on the score as asked. Presented in two ways. 1) Students will be asked to drag the score symbol according to the definition (e.g. drag "D.S." for "Return to the sign" and "al fine" for "and play to the double bar line.") 2) Students must drag the definitions for the score symbol (e.g. "D.C. al fine" is on the score and they must drag the phrases for each part).Reviews score symbols DC, DS, al coda, and al fine.
